Affordable, clean and safe. What a lovely place. The lady at reception was very kind and helpful, and I'd recommend staying here to anyone.

The room wasn't what we asked for. There was no self-catering option, and it wasn't accessible for someone with disabilities. One shower door was missing and the other was loose. The windows wouldn't close properly, and the rest of the room needed maintenance. It was also very noisy during the day.

They accepted a double booking, then called at the last minute to cancel mine and tell me to find somewhere else, even though I'd booked and paid in advance. I had a wedding to attend, and this just put extra pressure on me.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are clean and neat. I don't prefer staying anywhere but eSangweni, unless I'm travelling away from Richard's bay.

Today was our last birthday celebration with my girlfriends hosted at Esangwen, after a great run of celebrations there. We used to switch venues, but since finding this guest house, we haven't wanted to go to any other venues in Bays. That's mainly because of the excellent service. Salute, and siyabonga to Nozipho and your staff, especially Melusi. Isandla sendlula ingalo.
