A terrible experience at Mavundla Guest Lodge. The service was poor and the staff unprofessional. One lady kept shouting at us, which made the stay uncomfortable. She even closed the gate while the car was still moving, which was reckless and disrespectful. I paid R1200 just for peace of mind, but it wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are far better options that value customers and provide decent service.

A nice, clean place to stay. You won’t regret it.

After a full day out, Mavundla Guest House is a comfortable spot to rest. The rooms are tidy and the staff are welcoming. It could use more equipment, though the air-conditioning helps make up for that.

The location is straightforward to find, and the rooms feel safe and are kept clean. They also provide all the services you need.

We arrived to find they had no record of our booking or of the call I’d made, and nobody even checked the computer. I’d phoned after we needed to move our booking by a day; the woman wrote everything down and assured me it would be sorted. In the end, we had to book another B&B.
