Nicolaas was a welcoming, attentive and accommodating host, and his hospitality made my stay even better. Rooibos Retreat is very clean and neat, with a cozy feel that made me feel at home as soon as I walked in. Every detail was well looked after. I had a wonderful stay in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, and highly recommend Rooibos Retreat for comfort, cleanliness and great service. I'll definitely be back!

I felt safe and relaxed during a really comfortable stay. The host was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated. It's the little touches that will bring me back.

The pool was refreshing in the Richards Bay heat, and the place is reasonably close to shops and the beach. We stayed three nights and appreciated the daily housekeeping. The room and decor were great, everything was clean, and the service was excellent. Thanks to our hosts at Rooibos Retreat. We'd recommend it and will try the breakfast option next time.

For more than five years I've stayed at 'Rooibos' every month. After a long, hard day at work, I look forward to coming back to this safe haven. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are beautiful and clean, and they have all the amenities. Host Nic is always happy to help, and I'll keep coming back to this little piece of paradise for as long as I can.

Nicolaas was welcoming and accommodating from check-in. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and super clean, and the layout is so pretty, a great mix of comfort and luxury. The bed and mattress were exceptional, and the fresh, soft linen and towels smelled so good. Solar power is available during outages, and the place is about a 10-minute drive from Richard's Bay Airport. Rooibos Retreat exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it, and I'll stay here again when I'm back in the Bay area.
