Lovely views and rock pools you can hike to. The shower setup is odd and floods, but the place is still really lovely!

The cottages are simple, but comfortable. What makes the stay is the mountains rising all around you. Take a hike or just sit and admire them. It did us good, body and soul.

The view was the one good thing. The cottages are run down and nowhere near as neat or pretty as the staged photos make them look. For the rates, they aren't worth it. The fan does nothing and the rooms get incredibly hot. There also wasn't a bath, even though the photos suggested there was, which was a problem with our 4-month-old baby. I wouldn't recommend these cottages. Sadly, the owner was unreasonable and dishonest, defending himself by blaming us for things that were absurd and untrue. It seems this is how he often responds to bad reviews.

The setting is really beautiful, and the host was friendly when dealing with my husband, who booked our stay. The cottages were okay, but ours didn't seem to have been thoroughly cleaned before we arrived, and the dining table was dirty. During a pandemic, that made it uncomfortable to check in and wonder whether the accommodation had been deep cleaned between guests. There was also some mix-up about our arrival date, so check-in wasn't as smooth as we'd hoped, though the host sorted it out quickly. We weren't given a welcome note or any information sheet or pack.
