Galloway Guest House

We stayed in a beautiful Rondavel at the back of a farm, separate from the main guest house, and it was a real treat. The pool is right outside and shared with the other Rondavel, which was empty, so we had it to ourselves. The owners adjusted our booking when our plans shifted and met us on arrival to show us around. The area is lovely, completely quiet and dark at night. The Wi-Fi worked well and was fast. We'd absolutely stay again.

We came from JHB and loved the peaceful setting at Galloway. It really feels like a home away from home, and the people who run it are friendly and very accommodating. Robertson town isn't too far away, but the place is just far enough out to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, away from the hustle and bustle.

The owners are awesome and very helpful. It's a great way to enjoy the calm of farm life, while staying central enough for day trips to wine, cheese, olive and berry tastings.

A lovely country experience with vineyards, mountains and stunning views. The accommodation is modern and comfortable, the hospitality is good, and breakfast is hearty.
