Pat Busch Mountain Reserve

Pat Busch feels like a peaceful mountain retreat, far from the rush of everyday life. We’re looking for a wedding venue, and Robertson is a lovely place to visit. Such a beautiful escape.

My daughter and her fiancé got married at the reserve this past weekend, and we had a blast. The tents where we stayed were amazing, with lovely mountain views, and the setting felt secluded and peaceful. Staff made sure we had what we needed, and the wedding setup was so well thought out. It was a very warm day, so they put up umbrellas to shade the seating and left cold water at the entrance for guests. The coordinator timed the doors perfectly as everyone walked out. The food was delicious, cooked well, and came with a variety of salads. My daughter and I even had our daddy-daughter dance on the dance floor while the DJ played great songs all night. They made the whole day feel special. I can’t imagine it going better, and I’d definitely return to the reserve. Thanks for all the effort!

Hadeda and Nightjar cottages were a lovely place to stay, tucked into the mountain reserve and surrounded by nature. They’re stocked with pretty much everything you might need. The wood-fired hot tubs were a real treat. I’d recommend a visit if you need a break from the city.

The forest ceremony spot, stretch tent dining area, fairy lights, and whole atmosphere felt magical when we visited for a wedding.
