The owners made us feel welcome and genuinely cared about our stay. Waterford Manor has real warmth and character, and it was comfortable, well looked after, and as described. I really appreciated that countryside feel. Set in the peaceful, scenic heart of the KZN Midlands, it gave me the space to slow down and enjoy being there, away from the pace of everyday life. Nature and quiet make for a genuinely calming break. It seems like a good stop for people travelling between Gauteng and KZN, or for couples and families wanting a Midlands getaway with room to breathe. I left rested and would happily return. Thanks, Waterford Manor, for a wonderful stay.

Mountains all around and a river passing right by made this a really peaceful stay. The sound of the water was so relaxing. I loved it, and will definitely come back. If you’re after a quiet place surrounded by nature, I’d recommend this spot.

I was here for business and really enjoyed the venue. The rooms are fresh and clean, and the staff are friendly. It’s away from the rush of town, and for once the photos show exactly what the rooms look like. A hidden gem, highly recommend it.
