Boschdal

The food was fantastic, and I’d strongly suggest eating there if you stay. The staff were friendly, especially the men in the kitchen and restaurant, whose names I unfortunately don’t know. They gave us wonderful service and went the extra mile. The place was peaceful and clean, and I slept very well in the comfortable, spacious rooms. They are a bit outdated, though, and the WiFi was a little slow.

The facilities were clean and relaxing when I visited in 2016, and the price is good if you can’t afford accommodation at Sin City. It’s a great connection to Sun City. I didn’t enjoy the breakfast, though. I think they should improve it.

The staff were friendly, quick and pleasant, and I enjoyed all the meals. They were delicious and there was enough variety each time. My room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and hope to return. I’d highly recommend Boschdal Guesthouse.

The area is nice and quiet if you can get away from the kitchen, and the staff are friendly. The receptionist was helpful and quickly moved us to a much better room suitable for our family. But no one from management showed up or even sent an apology for the distress we went through. The first night’s payment felt wasted. We booked through Agoda for 12_14 April, choosing the rooms shown online for a family breakaway. On arrival, rooms 29&30 were different from what was pictured. They were old, the carpets were dirty, the shower didn’t work, and the alternative shower was old too. The switches worked visa vesa, including a hazardous switch in the bathroom. The TV picture was blurry and very vivid, though the bedding was okay. Worst of all, the room connected to the kitchen, where an industrial fan ran constantly. It was unbearable at night. Security switched it off at 23h30, but it was back on at 5:30. I couldn’t wait to leave in the morning. The room felt like staff hostel accommodation with only a nice bed. Breakfast needs improvement. It was very poor, basic and unappetising, though the cereals were fine.
