It felt unsafe and dodgy, and the place was a mess. The staff were unprofessional.

We booked around 10 pm yesterday while travelling from Zeerust to Polokwane. We were tired and just needed somewhere to sleep, but the bed was so dirty we couldn’t even sit on it. The sheets had lots of hair and blood spots, and the pillows were oily and sticky. The whole place was filthy and smelled disgusting. We complained, and rude staff took us to a room that was even worse. We packed up and drove all the way home to PLK in the middle of the night because we couldn’t sleep there. I’m sure there are bed bugs. We left without even asking for a refund. Absolute trash, don’t bother booking.

The garden is great, and the location is the only other good thing about this place. It feels like you’re at the back end of a hotel, and the whole place is a mess. It looks like my garage. Reception was hardly attended, and the staff were poor. This would be an absolute last resort.

The rooms were clean and smart, and the place was very cosy. Nice spot, I recommend it.
