The mountain scenery was a highlight, and we could walk to the restaurants and shops from this perfectly placed stay. Inside, everything was spotless, comfortable, and lovely to spend time in. It felt like a home away from home, and the whole experience went beyond what I expected. I'd happily return and recommend it.

We had everything we needed in this bright, roomy house, plus thoughtful extras that made the stay easy. The modern kitchen and comfortable furnishings were especially handy. It was beautifully looked after and felt like a real home. A great base for relaxing or seeing the area, and we'd love to come back.

The hosts were wonderful, and the mountain view from beside the sparkling pool was gorgeous. The house and grounds were spotless, with care given to every detail. Highly recommend!

The hosts checked in often to make sure all was well, and helped with local services and restaurant suggestions. We also loved the huge stoep, with plenty of seats and room for the family to spend time together. The modern kitchen worked well for cooking our own meals, and there were spacious bathrooms and excellent sleeping arrangements. Definitely worth considering for a Lowveld holiday.

Franscois was a great host, easy to reach and helpful without getting in the way. We had the whole house to ourselves, which was a real bonus, and it worked very well for our family. The rooms mixed modern and antique furniture, the beds were really comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. Online photos can be misleading when you're choosing a holiday stay, but that wasn't the case with 49 on Main. We all enjoyed being there, and I'd recommend it. Franscois was also very accommodating.
