The owners made us feel at home with their warm, genuinely hospitable manner, and they shared useful local tips. Their thoughtful care stood out most: they arranged a downstairs room for my mother-in-law so she wouldn’t have to use the stairs, then surprised her with beautiful flowers. It meant a lot to our family. Sand River Lodge is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and felt very safe. It’s close to the beach and nearby shops, yet quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for a relaxing staycation. Everything felt calm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The place is so special and unique, and you can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. Our room was really big and had a cute little balcony, and the location is fantastic. The hosts were AMAZING, and the homemade bread we got in the morning was delicious. We only stayed one night, which felt way too short. I’d stay here again if I come back!

The rooms at Sandriver Lodge are immaculately clean, and their decor is so fun. The Lodge is perfectly located, just a short walk from restaurants and the beach. Mark and Anneke are what make the place so lovely. They’re fantastic hosts, always keen to help with local tips and advice. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

These self catering units are just right for a relaxing holiday. The friendly owners make you feel at home straight away, and you’re close to the beach and business hub. The famous links golf course is just a stone’s throw away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as the good surf the town is famous for.
