We paid a lot and drove a long way, so arriving in unit No.11 to find no patio, outdoor furniture, braai, or secure parking was a real letdown. It's the only unit without those things, and there's no communal braai area. In the scorching heat, the air conditioning and roof fans weren't working either. Both bedrooms were in full sun, leaving the unit hot, humid, and stuffy, and there was no TV. We had to borrow a portable braai from another unit and use it in front of reception. At night we left the windows open, since they only got 1 1/2 fans working, and none in the main bedroom. We were told, "everything was still working yesterday". We booked through @bookings.com. Such a bummer of an experience.

I'm in unit 11, booked through lekker slaps. Parking's the problem: the garage is too small for a large vehicle. We were told to use the unit 3 garage for one car and put two spaces in front of the archways, but our vehicle doesn't fit there. Pretty unorganised.

Ours was the one unit out of 11 without designated parking, and also the one without a balcony. Booking us into the bum unit through @bookings.com was bad enough, but working aircon or fans seemed like a basic expectation. We also had to get them to "organize" a TV when we arrived.

The owner, mindy, was absolutely kind. The only issue was that the domestic workers didn't clean properly, so we had to clean after they left. I also want to say I'm really sorry about the key ring. The key was in the door and the wind slammed it, breaking the ring by mistake.

Marion the manager was friendly and did her best to accommodate us, but we won't stay here again. The units are tucked inside a big, ugly brick building with a poorly designed courtyard. I felt claustrophobic and missed seeing trees or even a garden. It's conveniently located and fairly priced if all you need is somewhere to sleep, but I wouldn't relax or braai here in a nice setting. The units were relatively clean, though the kitchens lacked basics: no dish cloths or brush, no dish liquid, and only limited toilet paper. Towels weren't changed daily.
