Pelican s Nest Holiday Home St Lucia

We spent 27 days traveling through South Africa and stayed in 14 different places. The Pelican Nest was by far the most surprising and breathtaking of them all, a hidden gem that stood out above the (r)(n)est. It felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. The hosts were warm and went above and beyond, sharing local tips and making us feel cared for. Daily housekeeping and solar power added to the comfort. The house itself was spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculate, with a fully stocked kitchen, air-conditioned bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Outside, there’s a sparkling pool, a peaceful garden full of birdsong and a patio for relaxing or having a braai with family and friends. It’s in a quiet spot, but only a short walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. A great fit for family, friends or pets.

The location was perfect, the venue luxurious, and the experience wonderful. It was clean and neat, with something for everybody. The staff were excellent. Thanks to Bianca Thuli and Malibongwe.

It’s a lovely, clean and private house that feels like home. We’re planning a longer stay next time, when we head back for the 3rd visit. I don’t bother looking at other accommodation.

Bianca kept in touch before and during our stay, sending lots of useful information about the area and things to do. The home is impressive and on a quiet street, just 300m from the main street. When we arrived, Thuli & Moses welcomed us. They cared for the grounds and cleaned the house every day, and their warmth helped make the stay memorable.
