Canelands Beach Club

We picked this place at random from Google Maps and came for breakfast. The views were great and the service was excellent. Breakfast was good too. Just so you know, there's a 10% service charge, which some people might not like, but we still left a tip. Parking is limited, though nothing to make a fuss about.

We went to the restaurant at this beautiful, breathtaking hotel. Parking was a bit of a mission, but the food made up for it. It was delicious, just a little pricey.

The room was spacious and private, smelled wonderful, and had a stunning view. The area is beautiful, with an unmatched sea view and breeze, and the staff gave us a very pleasant welcome. They kept the room fresh and tidy, with towels always available. I'd recommend staying here, though the bathroom could use an upgrade: its window wouldn't open, so the room got stuffy after a steamy shower. The spa was blissful. The staff met the standard, and the couples full massage package was a lovely treat that left us feeling rejuvenated and renewed. 10/10. The restaurant staff were awesome, the food was delicious, and the hot drinks were the best. 10/10. I'd rate the stay 8.5 /10.

We booked an event for the 25th of September 2025, but barely got to eat the food we'd ordered in advance, and our drinks never arrived. Everything was cleared away before we'd had much chance to eat or drink. I also paid too much on my deposit and still haven't received the refund. My request seems to be waiting somewhere between the GM and the MD for sign-off.
