The place is run down and poor value for money. The furniture is old and awful, with burns on the couch and in bad condition. The B&B rooms are zero star, so don’t waste your time and money. At least the gentleman was very helpful with booking in.

The location is perfect, close to the beach, and the staff are welcoming. But the kitchen space in the self-catering rooms and the bathrooms both need renovating.

The place feels run down and poorly managed, including the rooms. My bed was so bad I could barely sleep. The staff didn’t make me feel welcome, and they were extremely loud during the day and into the evening. I was there for business, working until 3am and sleeping from morning until 11am, so that made things worse. Spend your money somewhere else, I’m sure you’ll be happier.

Check-in went smoothly, and everything seemed fine when we booked. The trouble began in the evening during the power outages. Nobody explained what was happening or offered a plan B. Some staff were rude and didn’t care about guests’ concerns. We were left in total darkness, without lights to move around, and some guests were injured. You’d hope the owner would have a solution, but she was nowhere to be found. We had a lot to tell her, not to fight. Customer care is still a problem. We paid the deposit by EFT, but they insisted we pay the balance in cash, which was inconvenient. We didn’t get everything we came for.
