BlackBrick Sandton Two

The location near Sandton City worked especially well for my short trip, with essential services and amenities close by. I stayed in a clean, spacious studio apartment that was well set up, and the staff were consistently warm, courteous, and attentive. There are dedicated coworking spaces, meeting rooms, and a library that suit business travel. Good value and a pleasant experience overall.

We’d booked somewhere else, but there was no electricity, so choosing BLACK BRICK turned out to be the best decision. We hadn’t booked there, so we paid when we arrived. The staff were super friendly, and the place was clean. We enjoyed our stay despite the rain. I didn’t give it five stars because the shower was small for my partner and me. I also didn’t like having to call to ask for basic things like pots and an iron.

At Black brick one, the location was the only part I enjoyed. The room needed a better clean: the bathroom basin and couch both had stains. The breakfast buffet was a mess on the morning of 03 May 2026. The staff seemed understaffed for the number of guests, and people dished up haphazardly. There weren’t enough salt and pepper shakers on the desk, the glasses could’ve been cleaner, and the croissants were rock hard. For a hotel with that much capacity, a conveyor toaster would help avoid overloading the push-down toaster. I’d recommend the other hotel on the opposite side.

A clean, modern mini studio, and I loved the kitchenette. The shower smelled like mildew at first, though.
