I was feeling unwell when I stayed at Haystack, and the calm atmosphere and caring service really helped. The place is green, cozy and peaceful, with herbs and a lemon tree you can pick from. That magnificent Eucalyptus tree is something else ❤️ The team, Ba Njabulo, Ba Zanele & Papa Stanley, were patient, professional and so helpful. The owner is a rare, genuine person, and it felt like home. I went near the end of my trip in SA and wish I’d found this little piece of heaven sooner. I’ve honestly never given a place 5s across the board before 🤣, and this isn’t a paid ad. I’ll stop here, I’m in love with the place.

I arrived carrying a lot emotionally, and the staff met me with compassion, empathy and understanding. The rooms were very clean, and the quiet, refreshing setting gave me the chance to rest. After two days, I left feeling like myself again. Thank you, Haystack 💞

We had such a lovely stay. The host was kind and accommodating, and the staff were wonderful too. Our room was tidy, very clean and well equipped. The garden and pool area made for a peaceful, relaxing place to unwind.

We felt at home thanks to the friendly staff. I loved our room, and spent a lot of time unwinding in the gorgeous garden and by the pool. The property is clean, safe and well cared for. It’s in a good, safe area, close to shopping centres, entertainment and restaurants. I’d happily recommend it and book again.

The staff made us feel welcome and really went out of their way, from keeping the breakfast goodies topped up to helping with laundry or dinner. The rooms are tucked into lovely gardens, with a pool and terrace. Thanks, everyone!
