Chalet no. 2 Petunia

The rooms were roomy and clean, and the house felt neat and secure. We were there during a cold weekend, though, and there was no heating or heater, and no aircon either. The location was great. I also arrived before check-in, and the staff were very accommodating.

Paul gave us a warm welcome, and we felt secure in the complex. The house was clean and spacious, and the pool was clean too. It was also close to the place we needed to go for our visa applications. I'd happily stay at Chalet 2 Petunia again and recommend it to friends and other tourists.

It has an old-fashioned feel that I liked, and the place is very secure. Sandton Central in Benmore is just a stone's throw away, while an Uber to Sandton City costs R25. The kitchen could use a little work, and the couches need replacing. There's no airconditioning, so be ready for that in winter. Still, a good stay.

The pool is huge and clean, and there's a lovely big garden with braai facilities right outside. We had an absolutely amazing time.
