There’s coffee and tea on offer, but no kettle in the room. The TV barely counts as satellite, with only three channels, and the WiFi signal in the room was very weak. My room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. When I asked to move, I was told I’d need to pay for an upgrade. This lodge definitely needs more attention from competent service staff or owners. It’s not what I’d call a three-star lodge.

We paid in full in advance and booked two nights, but after just one night we were told the next morning to leave because other people had booked the rooms. The service was terrible. I’m never going back.

For our honeymoon, this was the worst mistake. The bathroom lights didn’t work, and the people downstairs were noisy until the next morning. We have our suspicions about what was going on. They moved us to another room the following day, but it wasn’t much better. Very disappointed.

The location can look scary if you’re not used to the area, but inside it’s very nice. The rooms are spacious, and there’s a swimming pool and playground. It’s nice accommodation and very affordable.

The venue itself is truly amazing, but I can’t say the same about management. I’d just finished a three and a half month stay and had to put up with the manager’s rudeness. When I left, I accidentally left a bag of belongings behind and have been trying to get it back ever since. The manager says she never saw it, while the cleaning staff confirmed it was there and was taken by her. I don’t know why she’s keeping my things from me, and I haven’t been able to reach the owner despite trying. I can recommend the venue, but be wary of the manager.
