We left as soon as we arrived because the property was not fit to stay in and presented serious health and safety concerns. The mattress was heavily soiled, with deep visible stains and bodily fluids, and there was black mold in the shower. The main light switch was broken and exposed; cables for the TV and internet were left in a dangerous, tangled state. We handed the keys to the security guard on duty and had to find other accommodation at our own expense. I’ve already submitted photos of the conditions. I requested a refund through the platform and was denied. A no-refund policy shouldn’t excuse a host from providing a clean, safe, habitable place, as required by law and Booking.com’s own service standards. Do not stay here.

The decor is sleek, and the place was absolutely spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful. An amazing find in Sandton, and I’d definitely recommend it.
2/10
The people were rude and badly mannered, and there’s nowhere for families with kids to use as a facility. You’re not even allowed to dry your own clothes in your garden or on your balcony. The outside and inside of the complex look so bad, and I’d give its appearance zero stars. This is the worst, most horrible complex I’ve ever seen or been to. The worst of South Africa, in a famous place like Sandton. 🤢😵
