Sandton Executive Suites - Villa Via

For the price, it was decent accommodation. The room was spacious, with nice crisp linen and enough utensils to make a small meal. There was just one air conditioner in the dining room for the two-bedroom apartment, and the fridge froze our groceries. The shower tiles didn’t look like they’d been cleaned in a long time, though the lighting may have contributed to that impression.

Breakfast wasn’t always fresh, and the place isn’t child friendly. There’s no lift, so we had to carry all our bags down the stairs. We were travelling with a toddler, and the stairs weren’t safe for him, especially since he likes running around.

The apartment was big, but they wouldn’t arrange an extra bed. We had to carry our bags up three levels of stairs. You could hear people using the stairs or talking from inside the apartment every time.

We could hear noise from the apartment above as though it were in the same room. We didn’t enjoy our stay and cut our planned visit short after two days.
