I spent seven days here, and the daily housekeeping kept everything clean, which mattered a lot while I was so busy. Winnie at the front desk was competent, and security was top-notch. Our guests could park easily. I only wished there were a bit more tableware for entertaining them.

We found this apartment at the last minute, and it turned out much better than expected. There’s a huge patio with an amazing view, friendly staff, and daily cleaning. It has all the facilities, including a washing machine. A small mall is within walking distance, with a Woolies, Clicks, and Kauai, and there are several Virgin Actives nearby. It was quite warm during the hot summer, so air conditioning would have helped. I also would’ve liked a handheld shower for washing long hair, though the water pressure was good. That may not matter to everyone. For the deposit, use the QR code reception provides if you want it back quicker.

Passing through Joburg, I stayed one night and really enjoyed it. The place was clean, easy to reach, and had simple parking. Check-in was straightforward, and I loved the digital door locks. The staff were lovely too. Definitely worth it!

I’m renting here now, but I’m trying to find somewhere else. It’s fine for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend making it your home. I first moved in during loadshedding because they have a generator, but once I got settled, problems started cropping up. First it was the wifi. Some mornings the internet just doesn’t work, which is a real problem when you work from home. Getting it fixed is like pulling teeth, yet they still take your money while the wifi is down. Then there are repair fees they don’t seem to keep track of. They might suddenly say you owe for a repair from last year. I’m only staying because it’s close to the gym and work when the wifi is down. Yoh, I can’t wait to find a new place. This isn’t it.
