Six Valk Avenue Guest House

Patrick, the owner, and Michelle, the manager, made me feel at home during my 9-day stay. Thanks again for looking after me! The place is quiet and secure, and I slept more peacefully here than I have anywhere else during all my work trips. Everything was clean and tidy, with lots of care in the details. They replied quickly and were very accommodating. ☺️

The sunny gardens made me feel zen, and the spotless, huge pool was so much fun. It’s a peaceful self-catering and B&B guesthouse, close to Monte Casino, Fourways Mall and banks. There’s secure parking, and the place is clean and has everything you need. The staff made me feel at home. I didn’t want to leave. Thanks for having us.

I’ve stayed here many times for business and want to bring my family next time. Fine restaurants are within a 10-minute taxi ride, and it’s well placed for visiting South Africa’s attractions. The owners, Julia and Patrick, are some of the nicest people, and the staff are great too. Elizabeth is especially good at ironing. The rooms are clean, modern and fully furnished with everything you need. They’re perfect in every way, and the quality is off the scale. The location feels as safe as a 5-star hotel, and that’s how I’d describe 6 Valk Avenue too. In JoBurg, you WILL NOT find better. My only complaint is the quality, it’s off the scale! For business travel, this is the homely guesthouse I want. The facilities are amazing and comfortable, and Jeanette, the manager, is incredible. She always tries to fit me in at the last minute and greets me with the friendliest smile. It’s the only guesthouse I’ll stay in.
