The Archer Aparthotel by Totalstay

The rooms were well equipped with the basics: a double bed, fridge, basin, toaster, washing machine, towels, and mostly a bathroom with a shower. They were great.

The sofa and its cushions are pretty worn, and there's a damp, musty smell throughout the Apollo, which other reviews have mentioned too. For a hotel, I expected better service. It felt very lazy. This place could be much better.

We were so put off by the smoky smell in the room, the worn couches and pillows, and the kitchen that still smelled of yesterday’s food and had stains. We left without staying the night. The photos make the place look beautiful, but that wasn’t what we found. I also heard another customer say they’d been without a towel for almost a week. There seemed to be just one receptionist, and the place needs more than that. They asked for a security deposit, and the receptionist said it would be refunded in five working days. It’s been almost ten, and there’s still no refund. Absolutely disgusted.

The receptionist was friendly, but the place needs a lot of cleaning and work. It’s small and basic, and the rooms smell terrible. We booked a superior room but had to take a standard one because the odours were so bad. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
