I needed somewhere to put my feet up and elevate my broken foot after a long day at the mines, and this place worked for me. It was neat, clean and quaint, with a cozy dining room. The food looked good, though I like my meat medium rare. I also want to give the cook credit for preparing all the guests’ meals by herself. Maybe we didn’t say it at the time, but thank you for the effort. I was there on a work trip. I think the place could be better, but I was comfortable enough to rest. Loved the cool spiders, and they’re putting in a pool.

Peaceful, clean, and friendly. I left my watch behind and they kept it safe for me. Thanks, I’ll definitely come back.

I ended up cancelling our stay because dealing with the owner was so unpleasant. I had to call every time I needed access for work, and it was annoying to get calls asking what time I’d be back. I felt treated like a child. He came across as arrogant and cocky, and I wouldn’t book there again or recommend it to friends or employees. The place was far too overpriced, and the pictures didn’t reflect what it was really like. The wardrobe was cheap, from the Somalian shop. It was a worse experience than I expected.

I’d planned to relax during my four days there, but it was uncomfortable. They seemed to watch you all the time, like you were at home. It felt as if they only catered for people who sleep there and leave during the day, not guests staying in all day. The rooms were fairly clean, but the bed had no mattress protector, so if you moved in your sleep you’d end up on the mattress. I was disgusted to find used hand soap, and the bubble bath container had just been topped up. The glasses weren’t washed either. One morning I was really hungry while waiting for breakfast, and they kept saying they were fixing it. When I asked for white bread, they said they didn’t have any, even though they were serving it to conference guests.
