Haven on Hoopoe

The rooms are tiny but comfortable, with a lovely shower. Everything was very clean and beautiful, and the tall shrub fences make it feel private and secure. There's also a private Braai facility.

I stayed for over a week in a self-catering unit, and it was really well appointed. The setting is truly tranquil, and the pool was a welcome bonus. The location is perfect, too. The towels were the fluffiest and whitest, and I felt very welcome and cared for. Hospitality at its best, thanks to Tracy and the friendly staff.

It's always immaculately clean and neat as a pin. The hosts are wonderful, and there's a beautiful mahogany tree in the garden. A quiet, safe spot in a good part of Sedgefield.

Lesley, our host, was friendly and helpful, and the cottages are clean, neat, and safe, with secure parking behind a security gate. The self-catering unit had all we needed, with a comfortable bed, decent bathroom, and kitchenette. We liked sitting in the garden under the big shady tree. Haven on Hoopoe is very reasonably priced for Sedgefield, close to PnP, Spar, and garage stations. It's also easy to reach the main road for sightseeing trips to Knysna.
