Kambaku @ Sea

We watched the sunrise and sunset from our private patio every day. I’d recommend upgrading to a room with a view. The hotel has breathtaking scenery, friendly staff, and dinner was really good, especially the beef fillet. Great value too, I absolutely loved it.

We made sure to try the dinner menu, and it was well worth it. The evening meal was lovely with that breathtaking view, and the African dusk made the scene feel magical. I’ll remember it for a long time. The house has a striking outlook and a charm of its own. The rooms have lots of thoughtful touches, and the team was warm to us throughout our stay.

We only spent one night here while passing through Sedgefield on the Garden Route, but the tranquil gardens and river views made a lovely impression. Our beautiful room had a lounge area and balcony, and the trickle of water through the gardens was so peaceful. One small note when navigating there: Google took us to the wrong place, so make sure you select the right Kambuku at Sea on the map. I’d highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I spent a couple of days at this mesmerizing property. The hospitality was amazing, and the setting’s scenic beauty is among the best we’ve seen across Africa. I’d highly recommend adding it to your travel itinerary.
