The view from the house is breathtaking, and inside it's furnished so nicely that it feels like home straight away. John and Janet are the real highlight, warm and thoughtful hosts who go out of their way to help. They shared useful tips for the area and Kruger National Park, and made sure we had what we needed. Highly recommended.

Porcupine ridge sits in a stunning spot overlooking hills and valleys, and it's a great base for exploring Kruger or the Blyde River. Janet and John made us feel completely at ease, doing everything they could to keep our stay comfortable and relaxing.

The hosts were so welcoming and made my stay a pleasure, and breakfast was lovely. The rooms were clean and the beds really comfortable. Just be aware there's no WiFi, though cell service works, so it may not suit you if you don't want to disconnect.

Tucked halfway up a mountain, this place feels wonderfully peaceful. The hosts know the area well and are happy to suggest things to do. I'd definitely recommend it 🙏🏾

Uncle John and Janet were such lovely hosts. The place has a great feel to it, and they made sure all our needs were taken care of. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.
