Purple House B&B

The food was great, both supper and breakfast, and all four of us enjoyed every bite. Johan is amazing, accommodating, easy to approach, and so relaxed that we felt comfortable right away. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are wonderful. I left a few things behind; when I called, Johan had found them on the day I left, put them aside, packed them nicely, and sent them on their way home to me. Thank you 😊 You should stay at The Purple House in Smithfield at least once in your life, even if only to meet the host.

At around 11:00 pm, serious problems at our original accommodation forced us to leave, and we called Johann at Purple House B&B in a panic to see if he had a room. He stayed up for us and welcomed us so warmly that a stressful night turned into a positive experience. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, and Johann helped us plan the rest of our journey and find the best normal roads to take. We're incredibly grateful for his kindness and support, and highly recommend Purple House B&B.

The food was super delicious and such good value, and Johan and his son Nicholas were friendly and welcoming. Thanks for letting us watch the rugby in your lounge! This little gem feels homely and comfortable, and the accommodation is conveniently close to the N6 route.

Johan was such a sweet host, and the location is amazing. The rooms feel absolutely luxurious, the service was amazing, and the free wifi is fast. The air conditioning was heavenly. 100/10, would recommend.
