The basic breakfast and watered-down filter coffee were a letdown. Worse, the towels had a strong bad smell, and asking for fresh ones didn’t help because those smelled the same. My room also had a damp, mouldy odor. I can’t tell whether it came from the towels or the room itself, but it needs attention. I stayed over the weekend. I know this is considered one of the better options in Standerton, but my stay didn’t live up to that.

The room smelled really bad, though I couldn't tell if it was the drains or something else. The bath towels were just as unpleasant, old and mouldy smelling, and the replacements were no better when I asked for fresh ones. I was there with my family over the weekend. The place was decent, and breakfast was average, but those problems ruined the stay.

The staff were great, and the breakfast was amazing. I stayed for a week and felt it was worth every penny. If you're in Standerton, I highly recommend it. Best service ever.

The comfortable room and spacious bathroom made it easy to relax, and getting around from the location was convenient. I was in Standerton for a performance and had such a lovely stay at Appledew Guesthouse. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I felt at home straight away. I’ll definitely come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Standerton! 🌸

The food was plentiful, and the venue had the equipment we needed. I used it for work, staying in one of the rooms and presenting sessions in the conference facility. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Best service I’ve had in a very long time! 🏆
