I went to the spa with my daughter, and it was such a mind-blowing experience. The massages were tailored to whatever you wanted that day. The grounds are gorgeous, the art is fascinating, and the staff are sincere and wonderful. And the smell of the oils and lotions, wow. I can't recommend it enough.

After my mother died, I was going through an extremely difficult time. The hotel treated me with kindness, understanding and real compassion, and let me cancel my reservation without a charge. I'm deeply grateful for their empathy and humanity. Thank you very much.

We spent two nights at Delaire Graff Resort as a couple, and the views from above the vineyards were breathtaking. The name “Delaire” comes from the French word for “high above,” which fits the feeling of serenity and elevation here. The lodges were gorgeous, spacious and private. The whole resort felt luxurious, with thoughtful design down to the smallest details, plus little surprises that made our stay more memorable. Staff were warm, attentive and exceptionally friendly. Service sometimes took a little longer, but they were always kind and professional, and we felt well looked after. We loved the food, which was creative, refined and high quality, along with excellent wines from the region. The art collection is remarkable and woven beautifully into the setting. Dylan Lewis's sculpture garden particularly caught our attention, and inspired us to visit his sculpture garden in Stellenbosch too. There were a few times when the quiet we'd expected wasn't there. In the mornings, loud machinery was used in front of our private outdoor pool while we were trying to do yoga. The TV in the neighboring lodge was quite loud at times, and staff talking near the hotel's main pool carried farther than expected. At a place of this caliber, we'd have appreciated more care with the quiet and atmosphere. Delaire Graff still has exceptional charm and character, bringing luxury, art, nature and food together in a special way. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant experience was a disaster. We were seated at 20:00, then left waiting for nearly 40 minutes, and didn't start eating until 21:30. Nobody explained the delay or apologized. For around €2,000 a night, finding standing water in the bathtub because the bathroom drain didn't work was completely unacceptable. This was extremely disappointing, with a very poor price-to-quality ratio. The hotel doesn't meet five-star standards in any way.
