The breakfast was amazing, and our room was just right. The property is beautiful, and the hostess was so welcoming and attentive. We had a dream of a two-night stay, with nothing but good things to say. I highly recommend it.

Nature all around, a lovely, peaceful place, and a host who pays attention to every detail. This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. I can only recommend it!

The staff were lovely and welcoming from check-in right through to check-out. We also loved how fresh and delicious the breakfast selection was each morning. Our room was large, private, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Eikendal Lodge is nicely placed for trips to Somerset West, Stellenbosch, and the wine farms. It was a very pleasant surprise, and I definitely recommend staying here.

We only stayed one night, but would definitely come again. The room was large and had everything we needed, with lovely linen and a veranda to sit on. We enjoyed the beautiful views, swimming pool, and friendly staff, plus an excellent breakfast and a complimentary wine tasting. The location is great, close to everything.

We celebrated our engagement here and can’t wait to return. The managers and staff were wonderful and knew the place well. Our room was spotless, quiet, large, and comfortable, with lovely barn-style doors and a private patio looking out over the vineyard. Breakfasts were top notch and the pool was delightful. This is hands down the most wonderful place I’ve ever stayed, so book right away!
