Kleinbosch Lodge

Only a 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch, Kleinbosch Lodge is a peaceful break from the town’s bustle. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and equipped with just about anything you might need. My bed was very comfortable, and I was glad to have a good WiFi signal. The hosts were kind and helpful, and the rates were very reasonable. I’d happily return and recommend it.

I was in town for a conference and stayed at Kleinbosch lodge for two nights. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, and the owners made me feel safe and welcome with a thoughtful gesture. I’d booked a standard self-catering room at the back, which was peaceful but felt a bit isolated when I was on my own. After I mentioned feeling anxious, they upgraded me for FREE to a beautiful cottage near the main house and other guests, worth double what I paid. Their two dogs greeted me warmly. I didn’t get to use the games room or pool because of the conference, but the whole property is beautiful and serene. Thank you, Hans and partner, for your hospitality. I hope the lodge keeps growing and thriving, you deserve it! 🩷 Highly recommend Kleinbosch to anyone travelling to Stellenbosch.

The hospitality made us feel right at home during our five wonderful days at Kleinbosch. We loved how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were, just right for unwinding. We left feeling refreshed and are already looking forward to coming back on our next trip to the Cape Winelands.

Hans made everything easy, from helping us book directly to carrying our bags when we arrived. One evening we even came back to a handwritten note. Such a lovely little guesthouse and cottage, I’d highly recommend staying here.
