Orange-Ville Guesthouse

The owner was super friendly, and our chat gave us great tips for the surrounding area. We liked it enough to extend our stay by another night. It’s one of the best campsites we stayed at in South Africa. The place is lush and green, with lots of shade, a gorgeous view, and a cozy pool area. The two bathrooms are simply but charmingly designed and spotlessly clean. You can feel the care and effort that went into making this little oasis, and we’d love to return.

There are three grassy campsites surrounded by rose bushes, with beautiful views. The bathrooms were extremely clean and had plenty of hot water, and campers can use either of the two pools. The wifi was great too. It’s a lovely campsite, and the walking wine route is close by, with several wineries within walking distance. Depending on your route, the full loop can be 8-10km. Hardy, the owner, kindly drove us to the top of the hill, and we walked back through the vineyards. Highly recommended!

We came across this campsite while looking for somewhere near Stellenbosch and couldn’t have been luckier. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the location is wonderful. The facilities are great, with plenty of hot water and a fantastic shower. Staff and management were extremely friendly and helpful. There are several very good wineries nearby, and you can even walk to them on a tour from the campsite. Highly recommended!

Beautifully designed and decorated rooms, and an awesome breakfast too. If you want a truly amazing experience, this is the place. Definitely a must try.
