The accommodation is basic and affordable, but the owner’s small dogs bark constantly. There are many dogs around the bed and breakfast, and I can’t really blame them for communicating with each other, that’s just their nature. Still, the barking was especially disruptive late in the evening, overnight and early in the morning. We could hardly sleep or close our eyes. That’s just not ideal for a bed and breakfast.

The enclosed braai area was great for the children and would be handy in bad weather. It’s such a cosy place, with friendly people and a wonderful vibe. Thanks, Peter, for making our short stay one to remember. I’d highly recommend it.

Friendly people, good service, and everything was clean. There’s a communal kitchen with all you need, plus a nice quad where you can sit in the sun.

It’s close to the main facilities and shops. There’s no sea view, but the room service is great, the staff are friendly, and the place is very well kept. Kudos to Peter.

Peter was helpful with tips on places to eat, safety and beaches. We also visited the Olive farm Olyvenhoudt and Inverroche the gin distillery up the road. The room was clean and well kept, with a spacious shower that works well for wheelchair users or anyone who likes a large shower. A lovely overnight stay at a good price.
