The one drawback was the lack of air conditioning and insect screens, though a fan helped. We also had a power outage, but the powerful lamps in both bedrooms got us through the evening. The host had left basic supplies in the kitchen, including coffee, tea, milk, juices, rusks, olive oil, salt and pepper. The kitchen itself was well equipped with a fridge freezer, four-burner gas cooktop, oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery and lovely glassware. We stayed two nights in this spacious, well-designed two-bedroom holiday home with a friend, and found it furnished and fitted to a high standard. There was a patio with a table and chairs, sun loungers and a wood-fired BBQ/braai. A good choice for a stay in Struisbaai.

Sarina was a wonderful host, and Amia House was beautiful, very comfortable and spotless, a full 10/10 for cleanliness. We loved staying there and hope to come back soon.

The rooms were clean and fresh, the bedding was fresh, and the bathrooms were clean. Everything was perfect, and you'd have to look hard to find a fault. It's well priced too, a bargain for what you get. If you're after a high-end place, go here. They have the basic essentials you'll need.
