There’s plenty of space here, making it nice for a family gathering or a group of friends. The place feels special, like a step back to the early 1900s. Sutherland doesn’t offer much to do apart from stargazing, and businesses are close by, so expect an early wake-up call.

It’s easy to park and walk to the restaurants and attractions, and the OK Food store with its excellent fresh produce is within walking distance, so there’s no need to shop before arriving in Sutherland. The place feels safe, with regular police patrols adding comfort when walking around town. There are quiet relaxation areas, comfortable bedrooms, beautiful floors, and underfloor heating that keeps the lovely property warm inside. The views of the night sky are exceptional, especially from the back porch. Every comfort is provided. Highly recommended for this bucket-list destination.

The old house has kept its original look, which is rare, and there’s plenty of space for a group. All the essentials are on hand, and the beds are comfortable. Amazing value for money. I’d absolutely recommend it, and I’ll adjust my vacation plans to stay here for the stargazing.

The easy check-in and clean property made the stay straightforward, and it had everything we needed. The electric blankets were a big help. A great location if you're visiting SALT. The cookware could use a few small upgrades.
