Everything was in good working order and well maintained, with what we needed for our stay. We got a warm welcome and clear guidance on using some of the unexpected but welcome technology. The home has a simple sophistication to it. We're already planning to return.

The location was great, close to everything we needed, and the house was well equipped, with huge rooms and an indoor fireplace. The owner quickly arranged replacement kettle and toaster after I reported the faulty ones, which I appreciated. The bedrooms get no daytime sun, and there's no heater or air conditioning to warm them, so the air gets really cold by evening. The electric blankets help with the beds, and a fire in the lounge warms that room, but not the bedrooms. Sutherland is the coldest place in SA, so pack an extra jersey.

The welcome was friendly, and the home was very, very clean and spacious. I'd love to come back in winter and make use of all the fireplaces in the house.

We had lots of room, comfortable places to sit, and a kitchen with everything we needed. Our dog loved the fully enclosed garden. There's firewood, bedroom fans, and AC in the living area. The host's communication was exceptional.

The online listing made the house seem modest, but it's actually spacious and comfortable, with an impressive garden and lovely interior style. It has everything you need and can fit a large group. I'm fussy and couldn't find a fault. The owners and staff were friendly. Believe me, you're going to love it.
