The lovely gardens and little swimming pool were a nice touch. The guest house was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced, and close to the restaurant. We didn’t meet the owners, but the stand-in was great. He showed us around and explained everything we needed to know.

There are plugs outside, which is handy if you need to work, and the garden is beautiful. The rooms were very clean, and our host was flexible and helped us check in late in the evening. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

The owner and hostess go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant and comfortable. It feels like a home away from home, and it’s a great place to stay in Swellendam. I highly recommend this guest house.

The breakfast was a generous spread, and you could choose what you wanted. We had eggs, bacon and toast, plus steamed potatoes and pumpkin, fruit and coffee, with other foods and dessert options available too. We stayed one night in a comfortable room with a lovely garden atmosphere. Egi and Bianca were wonderful, friendly people. He showed us around and treated us like family. I’d recommend booking this guesthouse, and give it a 5.
