The breakfast was the best we had on our trip. Everything on the table was either locally sourced or homemade, and the same care showed in the rose garden, furniture, natural swimming pool, rain products and wine. Stephen was keen to make our stay as good as possible, and his recommendations turned out to be fantastic. Thanks so much!

We arrived late for check-in and wished we'd had more time there. The place is cozy, beautiful and clean, with spacious rooms and a clean bathroom with lots of facilities. The garden is like an artwork, full of thousands of flowers and other plants around a beautiful natural pool. Stephen, the owner, and his wife made breakfast themselves, and it was delicious, from the marmalade, honey and sausage to the eggs, bacon and bread. Well worth visiting Swellendam. We hope to come back and stay again.

The Hideaway is an easy walk from Swellendam attractions and restaurants, though it sits in a quiet spot. The garden is bright and beautiful, with roses, a lemon tree and plenty more. The rooms have exquisite decor and are very comfortable, with free Wi-Fi, pool access and breakfast among the amenities. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. One of the nicest resorts I've stayed at, and we're having a lovely stay.

After the Swellendam park run, I stopped in for a small breakfast before a meeting, just as I wanted. Stephen and Jacky were super friendly and told me a lot about their homemade goodies. I'll be back. Regards, Trevor

A real treat, this fancy, secluded place, especially the garden and chlorine-free natural pool. Hope I get to come back.
