We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place to everyone. The hosts were great, as were the rooms and food, and the view was beautiful.

Dave and Monica have a genuinely warm way of making guests feel welcome without hovering. That simple, down to earth hospitality made for a great experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and even in winter the view is great. We enjoyed meeting their rescue dogs, which felt especially meaningful since we're involved in dog welfare and rescue ourselves. We'd gladly return.

The dogs were playful and friendly, and we enjoyed our stay enough to know we'll come back. Monika and Dave gave us the warmest welcome. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a spacious shower, and the deck and room both had magnificent views. Don't miss Monika's breakfast and dinner.

It feels like home, set in a beautiful landscape. Monica cooks a great range of food, different from what you get in restaurants, and David makes a great guide. We went on a birding and mammal tour with him in Makalele, and it was really worthwhile. A special place to check out, and we hope to return. Ilse & Daniel

We loved their home and enjoyed the magnificent view from our room and the deck at breakfast. Monika and Dave are warm, kind, friendly hosts. The bush babies were a particular highlight, and we had fun playing with their rescue dogs. Please give those dogs lots of love.
