African Tulip Guesthouse

The house and pool area were great, with places to sit outside on both sides. The hosts were lovely and made everything comfortable and memorable. They even offered to do our laundry and ironed our shirts while we were there. I’d recommend staying for a few days so you can enjoy the place.

Our room was modern, spotless, and had everything we needed, including air conditioning, a coffee/tea station, and a door out to the pool. There’s also an honesty bar in the kitchen for guests to use as they like. The host was lovely and very willing to help. The walls are paper thin, though. At night a neighbor angrily asked us to keep our voices down while we were talking in our room, and it made it hard to relax for fear of disturbing others. Early-to-bed couples may not have the same problem, but because of the noise issue I wouldn’t recommend bringing children.

The breakfast was simply divine, and every part of the stay felt special, from the welcome to the goodbye sign. This is honestly one of the best guesthouses I’ve stayed in. I wish I could give it more than five stars, and I’d absolutely recommend it.

Our two days were just perfect, from the breakfast and room to the pool and location. The hosts made it all the better. I’d gladly visit again and can highly recommend the place.
