The cottage was beautifully designed, and we loved how peaceful the place was. Fresh, warm bread arrived in the morning, there were birds everywhere, and the outside braai area, wood-fired hot tub, and pool were all lovely spots to relax. The pool also has stunning views of the vineyards and mountains. We’re pretty critical travelers, but this stay exceeded our expectations in every way and was the highlight of our South Africa trip. There are plenty of good wine tasting options nearby, including Montpellier, Saronsberg, and Swanepoel, and it’s less than a 10-minute drive to Tulbagh. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, peaceful Winelands stay around Tulbagh.

We had a really comfortable stay in the well-equipped cottage, with all the modern conveniences. The terrace was lovely, with mountain views and lots of birds dropping by. The breakfast baskets were generous, and the owners kept in touch proactively. All in all, 10/10. Thanks, Kim and Justin.

We loved waking up and going to sleep with those gorgeous mountain and vineyard views. The house had everything we needed for a restful stay, even a private outdoor fireplace. There’s a small pool and an Italian bistro on site, and it’s a handy base for driving around to try wines and olive oils. Such a romantic guest house, we’d definitely come back. Thank you!

Kim and Justin made us feel so welcome, and were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and really secluded, with lovely mountain views and a nice pool area. Our spacious room was comfortable and had everything we needed, including a very well equipped kitchenette. We also ate at the restaurant next door and really enjoyed it. We only had one night here and wished we could have stayed longer.

We had such a lovely little honeymoon at Duikersdrift. It’s a relaxing place to get away from the city, with beautiful mountain views. Kim and Justin were wonderful hosts, and I’d recommend the continental breakfast too. It was delicious and wholesome.
