A lovely spot for relaxing, and it’s well located. The staff are warm and friendly, and the peaceful feel made the visit enjoyable enough that I’d gladly come back.

We were there for three nights on a work trip, and it was a horrible experience. Check-in was bad, the beds were uncomfortable, the rooms poorly decorated, and the staff unfriendly, especially the man at reception. Food took an hour to arrive. The fish was uncooked, the ribs tasted like rubber, and breakfast was greasy with no cheese, muffins or croissants. The eggs and omelet were badly made too.

The rooms, food and service were all bad. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

The fan was even noisier than the aircon, which made noise whenever it was on. There was no hot water from the basin tap, and the shower door was loose.

At R900 a night, this was a very bad first impression. My mom is recovering from eye surgery, and her stay has been horrid so far. Some bulbs in her room don’t work, the air-conditioning doesn’t warm it, and the fridge freezes everything. The wifi signal is also poor. On top of that, they provide just one sachet of coffee for someone staying a whole week.
