Camarque

We really enjoyed our stay at 62 Camarque. Thank you, Sonja, for looking after us so well. My boys loved the swimming area, and next time I'd love to come with just my hubby.

The unit was comfortable, with a large bedroom and bunk beds just off the lounge. We also loved the pool and braai area, and the private deck had awesome views of the beach.

The setting is stunning, and the area has a lovely feel in the evening. Our unit 122 was spacious and had breathtaking views, but it wasn't maintained very well. The toilet overflowed a few times, and water kept leaking from under the main bedroom shower door. We stayed for 9 days in poor weather, and without a tumble dryer our clothes and towels wouldn't dry. Cleaning isn't done during your stay, so you have to call someone in. Cleaning on holiday was the last thing I wanted. One morning we planned croissants with cheese, but the grater was completely rusted. We ate out most of the time, though a place like this should be more convenient for a holiday.

The views are incredible, the location is amazing, and the apartment has everything you need. There are lots of stairs to climb, though. The beds were sparkling clean, but the rest of the apartment could have been a little cleaner.
