Our apartment was clean and served its purpose, and the hosts didn't scam us, which is always a concern. Still, the stay was unpleasant, and after years of booking through Air BnB, I found the whole experience shocking. My fall was traumatic, and I'm still not healed two weeks later, so I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for families with young children. The rooftop deck pools are marketed, but the pools were still being worked on and the area wasn't cordoned off. The lighting was poor throughout, and I had a terrible fall there. The downstairs pools and kids' play area were also badly lit, even though they close after sunset. The beach trail isn't great and doesn't lead to a swimming beach. The beach is peaceful for a walk or maybe dipping your feet, but that's about it. Check-in was unpleasant, with a security queue where everyone's IDs and biometrics were taken. I was told the biometrics are only needed for parking and stop working at 10am on checkout day. That doesn't match the usual practice of being able to check out and still use the amenities. Checkout was strictly before 10am. I don't mind that, but I kept getting text reminders shortly after arrival. The main bathroom was inconvenient, with no shower caddy, though that may vary by apartment. If you plan to use the beach trail, get an access code at check-in. We lost a lot of time over our short weekend trying to get access. We were told to ask a patrolling Security Guard, but we didn't see one during our stay. There were also many rules, including air-conditioning temperature limits, all sent after payment in a message packed with instructions.
