Martinique 8 in Shaka's Rock, Ballito, was a lovely place for our getaway. The private deck looks straight out to the sea, and the apartment is just steps from the beach in a secure estate. We enjoyed the long beach walks and quiet sunsets there. The ocean views are striking as soon as you enter, with plenty of daylight coming through the big windows. There are three bedrooms for up to six people, and the main bedroom had a comfortable bed. I woke up rested each day with the waves in the background. Inside, the place is spacious and stylish, with an open living area, comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen had all the appliances needed to cook in, and the apartment also had air conditioning, fast internet and laundry facilities. We could settle in and relax, or head out sightseeing. Thanks to Chistine for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely come back! The Stoltz family.

We stayed here for a number of years because the flats are comfortable, well equipped and have an outstanding sea view. Thompsons Bay is a short walk away, with its large tidal pool, lifeguarded swimming beach and good fishing rocks nearby. The steps inside the flats can be difficult for very elderly or disabled guests. We eventually had to stay elsewhere when the price rose beyond what we could afford. I'm not willing to sell a kidney for a holiday.

Walking over the rocks with the kids and looking for sea creatures was a lot of fun. We also loved seeing dolphins swim past in the morning and return in the afternoon. The accommodation was 5 star+, and it made for a perfect weekend away.

The seafront chalets are just a few metres from the water, with lovely ocean views and dolphins often passing by. There's a good fishing reef right in front, too. The units are well maintained, the setting feels safe, and it's one of the best places at Salt rock, close to the tourist attractions.

The ocean views are great, and nearby restaurants and malls are no more than a five minute drive away. The flats are clean and pleasant, with everything needed for self catering.
