Villa Flamenco 3

It felt like a home away from home, with lovely scenery and a beautiful beach. The surroundings were peaceful, and the neighbors were friendly.

Kayla made us feel welcome at 15 Villa Flamenco in Ballito and kept communication smooth during the stay. Checking in and out remotely was effortless. I celebrated my 50th birthday there with my sisters, and the villa was spotless, beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed. The tranquil beachfront setting and breathtaking views made it a wonderful place to unwind. We had an absolutely perfect stay, and I'd highly recommend it.

Four of the units have a great ocean view, and the place feels secure. The beach is pristine and has natural pools that are useful for non-swimmers and toddlers. Getting down to the beach is easy.

This seems best suited to younger guests who won't mind small issues. The position is very good for young vacationers and right on the beach, and the shower is spacious with a great flow from its heads. But the lounge had salt over the walls, and the stove was a mess: two plates tripped the electricity, while the other two were badly rusted and hadn't been maintained. When we asked the property manager if anything could be done, they told us to move somewhere else if we weren't happy. One of our guests was an 82 year old lady, which made that response especially appalling. The main bedroom mattress was very hard, and the kitchen tap had no hot water, so we used the kettle. The photos showed a small braai on the porch, but it wasn't there because they hadn't been updated. There was a built-in braai around the corner instead. It blocks the nice view, though it does give some shelter from the wind. There are also many steps with very slippery tiles. They may look nice, but they're not good for older or special needs folk.
