Rose was so kind and helpful at this spotless, peaceful guesthouse near the heart of Umhlanga Rocks. The rooms are well equipped, especially the kitchenette, which is handy if you’d rather stay in for the night.

We’ve visited Hillside GH twice now and will be back. The location is fantastic, and we walked everywhere. It’s classy and meticulous, with attention to detail, and Ina’s staff are delightful. The hosts were really friendly and nice, and there were naughty monkeys around. Probably one of the best guest houses I’ve ever stayed in, tastefully decorated and full of attention to detail.
