The apartment is roomy and beautiful, with sea views and a swimming pool. The complex is safe and well maintained, and the rates were reasonable. I booked through BE Prop, and the agent was friendly and helpful.

It's a lovely private place behind Oceans mall, and Umhlanga beach is an easy walk away. The service and housekeeping could be better, though, especially with things like the towels.

The apartment was spacious, but there was no sea view and the air conditioning wasn't working. Parking was hard to find if you don't know the area.

Such a disappointing stay for the price. Housekeeping was very poor, and the place was badly maintained. The air conditioner leaked into the apartment, the safe didn't work, and on day three the electricity was out. We weren't given any instructions about what to do. I won't use this place again.

The only thing I liked about Tam's place at 619 was the modern decor, and honestly, it didn't justify the price. The road there is narrow and used by taxis, while buildings and construction on the new mall block the beach view. The shower drain smelled awful, noticeable as soon as you walk into the bathroom, and the bedroom faces a noisy highway. On our second day, maintenance arrived without warning to fix the washing machine and had to remove it. If we hadn't been there, they would have gone in and out of the apartment with all our belongings inside.
